Trust Grade Lead Registrar in Emergency Medicine

About the Role

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the care of patients in the Emergency Department(ED). He/she

will have direct responsibility for the management of patients. There is 08:00 to 00:00 Emergency Medicine Consultant

presence at both departments, and additional night cover from Friday to Monday at Northwick Park Hospital. Outside these

hours one of the middle grade doctors is designated to undertake the lead role and works in close liaison with the nurse

co-ordinator to ensure the department runs efficiently. In addition to main shop-floor duties the successful candidate

will also participate in the care of patients in theClinical Decision Unit, incorporating Same Day Emergency care
