About the Role
Daily review of medical inpatients and ongoing care i.e performing relevant investigations, following up results,
monitoring of patients, liaising with other specialities, communication with patients and families, completing discharge
summaries etc. Responsible for ensuring adequate clinical notes are made in accordance with good medical practice. To
work closely with appropriate nursing, professional, technical, and administrative and support staff. Seeing new medical
referrals on take with the on-call team and post-taking patients with on call consultant. Acute care of medically unwell
referrals and inpatient. Outpatient clinics as appropriate for speciality. Clinics for ST1/2 are done with close
