Urgent Care Response General Practitioner
About the Role
JOB PURPOSE To provide a full general practice service across different settings according to the portfolio role of the
GP and the needs of the service. Main Responsibilities The post holder will be responsible for seeing patients in an
identical manner to regular general practice work, taking responsibility for a patients care and only referring back to
their own GP where appropriate, consistent with ensuring every contact counts. The GP will provide telephone and video
support to the community ACPs, nurses and therapists assessing patients in the community. The GP will support patients
who are managed in a GP-run virtual ward. The GP will also support paramedics and the ambulance service for patients who
