About the Role
Duties and responsibilities Be skilled in Aseptic Non-Touch Technique and be able to provide after-care for the lines
across the trust, placed by the vascular access clinical nurse practitioners or by the interventional radiology team.
Recognise the need for escalation when managing the deteriorating patient in the Units, ward or departments. Ensure the
environment is clean and prepared for, including stock levels for the treatment trolley Deliver effective nursing care
to patients receiving PICC line insertion, midline insertion and post-insertion care under the direction of the Vascular
Access CNS. Communicate effectively with patients and all members of the clinical teams to ensure information is shared
