About the Role
Exeter School is seeking a part-time, self-employed visiting music teacher (piano) for its thriving pre-prep school. Ideal candidates will possess strong instrumental skills, knowledge of piano techniques, and experience working with young children aged 3-7.
Responsibilities
- Teach piano to pre-prep students aged 3-7.
- Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to individual needs.
- Incorporate music theory into lessons.
- Encourage creativity and musical expression.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching piano.
- Strong understanding of music theory.
- Experience with pre-prep age group.
- Ability to offer singing lessons is a plus.
