Ward Lead

About the Role

Duties Include Support the clinical team in implementation of an agreed plan of care with the patient and in accordance

with instructions and training received. Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members

of the multidisciplinary team. Contribute to the legality and accuracy of the patients care plan/ and or other reports

and the effectiveness of the established communication /reporting systems. Conduct regular ward meetings and action any

discussion points made. Complete annual nurse competency assessments and ensure assessments are given to new starters.

Orientate and introduce new support workers and nurses to the ward. Ensure regular 1:1 meetings are completed and daily
