About the Role
Located in Staffordshire, we specialise in supporting young people with severe or complex mental health conditions who
need intensive inpatient treatment. We are dedicated to providing caring, supportive, recovery-focused treatment and we
achieve this by working together with our young people, their families and other professionals. Thorneycroft Unit
Thorneycroft provides care for young people in mental health crisis on either an informal basis or detained under the
Mental Health Act. Often, following a short stay in a PICU ward, young people are discharged to a general adolescent
unit for ongoing treatment and support once the immediate crisis is over. *** This is a Nurse Qualified post *** What
