About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a dedicated Ward Manager has emerged at a leading mental health hospital in Attleborough, Norfolk. This role involves overseeing a team, ensuring high-quality care for adolescents and young adults with complex needs, and fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead the nursing team and manage shifts effectively.
- Provide high-quality care for adult patients.
- Develop therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement.
- Contribute to patient assessments and care plans.
- Mentor and support student nurses and team members.
- Ensure compliance with care standards and regulations.
- Promote a culture of learning and professional development.
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with active NMC Pin.
- Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience.
- Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
- Ability to assess and teach junior staff.
- Commitment to patient-centered and evidence-based care.
- Flexible, positive, and team-oriented approach.

Compensation
The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £47,375 per annum.
Location & Schedule
This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours a week in Attleborough, Norfolk.
