About the Role

The post holder will be a Ward Manager based within the Crystal Centre on Topaz Ward.

Mixed acute ward.

In liaison with the Clinical Manager/Matron, Service Manager, Associate Director and Director to set objectives for the

delivery of care within the area and to devise ways of implementing and monitoring these. To work closely with the

Executive Nurse in developing nursing practice across inpatient wards.To have knowledge/understanding of the legislation

likely to be encountered as part of the role e.g. Mental Health Act 1983, as amended in 2007, Misuse of Drugs Act 1971,
