About the Role

An secondment opportunity has arisen for a ward manager position on Hurst Place at Tameside General Hospital, for 6

month period. Hurst Place is a 15 bed, mental health rehabilitation unit for males who suffer with complex and enduring

mental health illnesses. Our service users may also present with physical health conditions and other comorbidities.

The job will involve clinical leadership alongside operational management.

• Management of the clinical team: ensuring that the team are working effectively both as individuals and as a team.

This includes: recruitment, retention, development, and support and performance management of their staff.
