Ward Manager -St Francis Ward

About the Role

Provide continuous leadership and operational oversight of the ward, ensuring effective coordination with Duty Managers,

Ward Managers, and Consultant Users. Supervise, support and develop the ward team, including shift leaders, nurses, and

HCAs through mentoring, delegation, performance reviews, and annual appraisals. Ensure the delivery of safe, effective,

individualised and evidencebased patient care across all stages of the patient journey, from admission to discharge.

Maintain a welcoming, caring and safe environment for patients and families, upholding high standards of communication,

dignity, and compassion. Lead Infection Prevention and Control practices and ensure full compliance with safety checks,
