Ward Manager/Team Leader - Midwifery Led Birthing Unit (MLBU)

About the Role

The Ward Manager/Team Leader will work closely with the Matron for Intrapartum Care and the senior midwifery leadership

team to support the implementation of Care Group service plans. They will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration

and continuous improvement, ensuring the intrapartum teams function as a cohesive and responsive unit. They will provide

direct patient care, demonstrating advanced midwifery knowledge and expertise and will act as a resource and role model

for the clinical team. The successful candidate will be expected to support the delivery of a high quality, safe and

compassionate healthcare service. They will be expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work
