About the Role
The Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse is responsible for the clinical leadership and day-to-day management of the gynaecology
ward, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care. The post holder acts as a role model for
nursing practice, supports junior staff, and works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to maintain high
standards of care for patients undergoing medical and surgical gynaecological treatment.
