About the Role
JOB OVERVIEW
Meadow Ward is a busy day surgery ward and admissions lounge caring for approximately 100 children per week. It cares
for children requiring secondary and tertiary care across a huge array of specialities. Nursing staff also provide
paediatric cover for children undergoing elective GA procedures at the Eye Hospital and an ENT urgent clinic. The sister
/ charge nurse will also be responsible for a ward based, nurse run telephone Pre-operative Assessment service.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills and be committed to enabling the team
