About the Role
Smithers Ward is a 19 bedded inpatient/ 4 day care bedded unit specialising in holistic oncology care. We are seeking a
motivated and dynamic Ward Sister/ Charge Nurse on a fixed term basis to lead the nursing team.
1.1. To create and maintain a safe, therapeutic clinical environment for all patients and their families who come to
Smithers Ward. To co-ordinate all functions and activities proactively within the designated clinical environment
(including those involving outlying private patients).
1.2. To manage resources of clinical area within budgetary limitations e.g. Finance, equipment and staff (including
