About the Role

The Hospital Waste Porter plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment by ensuring the

efficient and compliant collection, segregation, and disposal of all hospital waste, including clinical, domestic, and

recyclable materials. This role supports infection control and environmental sustainability across the hospital site.

• Collect and transport various waste streams (clinical, domestic, sharps, confidential, recyclable) from wards,

theatres, and departments to designated disposal or storage areas.

• Ensure correct segregation and handling of waste in line with hospital policies and current legislation (e.g., HTM
