About the Role

JOB DESCRIPTION

Altnagelvin Hospital. In order to meet the overall mission of the organisation the post holder will: Lead the

implementation of AYA services (16-24 years) across Western Trust working in collaboration/liaison with Cancer Unit and

Regional Cancer Centre AYA service, Belfast ensuring all patients receive age appropriate, high quality clinical care.

Act as a source of advice and expertise providing a comprehensive specialist role for AYAs with cancer within the

nominated geographical area. Support the tumour specific CNS in the key worker function and where the patient does not
