Youth Engagement Job Coach / Employability Work Placement Coordinator

About the Role

This position focuses on mentoring young people to enhance their employability skills and confidence. You will work closely with local employers and referral partners to provide tailored support and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with referral partners and families to support learners.
• Mentor young people to develop essential life skills.
• Source and monitor safe work placements for learners.
• Conduct progress reviews and assessments.
• Ensure learner wellbeing and a safe environment.
• Collaborate with tutors for comprehensive learner support.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for compliance.

Requirements

• Experience supporting or mentoring young people aged 16–19.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and welfare practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Compensation

Salary up to £28,840 per annum, plus benefits.

Location & Schedule

Full-time position based in Llandudno, Conwy, North Wales, working 37.5 hours per week.
