About the Role
A specialist SEN school in Carshalton is looking for a Youth Worker to support pupils who benefit from strong role
models, clear boundaries and consistent adult support. Many of the students supported have social, emotional and mental
health needs (SEMH) and respond well to adults who bring calmness, confidence and the ability to build genuine
relationships. This role focuses on helping pupils stay engaged with learning, supporting behaviour positively and
working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to maintain a structured environment. Youth workers often bring the
right balance of patience, authority and mentoring skills that allow students to feel supported while maintaining
